Hello

Hello I'm new to blogger. I was informed of this site by my Computer Applications 2 teacher Mr. Gale for those who know him. I'm a student at Colony High School. I am a 16 year old Sophmore who wishes to work with computers when I get out there and get a job, specificaly I'd like to be involved with makeing video games, they make my life easier and less stressfull, and even ones not bent on education teach me things about life or just stuff whether I needed to know it or not. My favorite games are the entire Halo series (I only have Halo 3, Halo ODST, Halo Wars, and the new Halo Reach). Other best games for me are the Gears of War trilogy (yes its not a trilogy yet but im nameing it as so now at the expence of sounding stupid.), and most other fantasy based games. If anyone would like to talk about any of these things please chat me up I'll get back to you as fast as i can (I have school of course).

  1. Not much of a gamer these days, but I did have a mad stint for a few years with the Ratchet and Clank series on PS2. I really enjoyed the wit and storyline with interspersed movies. It was, however, the best part of the game that you have all those weapons that you can switch on the fly and sometimes the whole key to the strategy was to choose which weapon was best in which situation. That's where the strategy came in.

Is that at least part of the attraction to Halo? All the weapons and equipment, or is that just scratching the surface?

  2. It's definately scratching the surface. there is a huge story line to the game to learn about. yes technicaly it is a shootem up game but I choose to see the strategy of the game and actually learn about the game I have multipul published boobs from the Halo series, but the real main thing for Halo is the epic Xbox live for Halo compared to other games for live (I have many and this is just my opinion) but Halo live is the biggest attractiong for the game.

  4. @Justin Ethier, yes it is a "beast game" I personaly don't see why people down it just because it's not the same first person shooter game like every ones used to and they tried the stragety game style which I think was a very nice change, it was a nice background check to the story of the arbitor as well.
